Mitsubishi Announces Official Launch Date for i-MiEV Electric Car

Earlier we thrilled you with footage of the .-MiEV electric car in action. Now Mitsubishi has gone one step further and announced an official on-sale date for its upcoming eco-car.

Fleet sales will start in Japan this July with about 1,400 vehicles slated for leases to corporations and local authorities. Starting in April 2010, Mitsubishi plans to begin leasing the .-MiEV to the public..
