The Romeo Ferraris racing team has had a fruitful year after taking the top crown and winning the Class Championship Sara GT Cup. The team is now getting ready to compete at the 6 Hours of Vallelunga race this weekend. Their chosen steed is this extreme Romeo Ferraris 500 with a body weight of around 970kg. It is based on the Fiat 500.
Push and shove will come courtesy of the gutsy Fiat 1.4-litre turbo four-cylinder engine from the stock 500. In this application it sneezes out a formidable 265kW (360hp) which is sent to the ground via 17-inch Dunlop rubber.
Street-legal examples will not be created unfortunately as this is just a race car.
