America’s Many Pleasing Roadster crowned during 61st annual Grand Inhabitant Roadster Uncover
The 61st annual Grand National Roadster Uncover took place during the Pomona Fairplex this past weekend, playing host to some of the world’s premier hot rods and customs. After our inaugural attendance last year, we done sure to attend again for 2010 and spent an afternoon walking by the assorted buildings of the world’s longest using indoor automobile show. Among this year’s highlights included an exhibit featuring the “History of the Competition Car” as well as a hall dedicated to c ars featured on the covers of Rod & Custom and Street Rodder.
The categorical attraction of the show, however, is when the desired “America’s Most Pleasing Roadster” award is given out to one of a nominated prohibited rods. This year, a ‘33 Ford roadster owned by Mike and Dianna Dingman and built by Scott’s Hot Rods as well as Customs in Oxnard, CA took home top honors.
