2003-2008 Hummer H2 SUV & SUT 6? Opening Cessation Complement
FRONT CESSATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Disconnect the negative terminal upon the battery. With the vehicle upon level ground set the emergen cy brake and retard a rear tires. Jack up the front finish of a truck and support the frame rails with jack stands. NEVER WORK UNDER AN UNSUPPORTED VEHICLE! Remove the front tires.
2. Locate the torsion bar adjusting cams as we ll as threaded bolts. Magnitude exposed threads of torsion club adjusting bolts and record for reinstallation. Mark torsion bars indicating motorist as well as passenger. Regulating a torsion bar dismissal tool unload the torsion bars as w ell as remove the torsion club adjusters. Retain a hardware for reinstallation. NOTE- Do not attempt to unpack or remove torsion bars without a proper torsion bar tool. Torsion Bars are underneath extreme spring load.
3. Remove the sway club link ends from the sway club as well as lower control arm. Drop links as well as bushings
4. Remove the batch shocks and discard.
5. Remove the stock lower rubber strike stops from a frame and discard.
6. Remove the front factory differential skid image as well as dash shield and drop. Remove the bureau transmission ensure as well as save. Keep a hardware for the transmission guard.
7. Disconnect the tie rod ends from a steering knuckle by loosening the nut and striking the knuckle to chase the tie rod end. Makeuseof care not to repairs the tie rod finish when stealing. SEE PRINT NEXT MAINSTAY.
8. Remove the brake hose joint from a top of a steering knuckle. Unplug the ABS wire tie from the frame as well as control arm. Remove a caliper from the rotor and place on top of a upper control arm during this portion of the designation.
9. Mislay the brake rotor from a steering knuckle. Remove the axle bulb, washer, as well as the 4 hub bolts on the backside of knuckle. Mislay a temperament heart assembly togetherwith O ring from knuckle. Keep the parts and hardware for reinstallation.
10. Remove the top as well as reduce ball corner nuts. Undo the top and lower round joints from the steering knuckle by distinguished the knuckle with a large produce next to each ball joint on the knuckle to chase the ball joints. Use care not to strike a ball joints when removing. Retain the nuts and discard knuckle. SEE PHOTO BELOW.
11. Disconnect the CV half shafts from differential housing and remove the spindle public.
12. Mislay a lower control arms from a frame along with the torsion bar as well as retain the arms, torsion bar, as well as hardware for reinstallation. SEE PHOTO BELOW.
13. Disconnect the front expostulate missile from differential housing as well as transfer case, and retain a bolts as well as u corner clamps for reinstallation, discard expostulate missile. NOTE: THE new C.V. drive missile will be install later Enclosed in this kit).
14. Disconnect the differential housing electrical tie and opening line from the differential housing.
15. Remove a stock differential rear crossmember and discard. Mislay a differential housing public from car. To ease dismissal, turn a steering wheel to the left for better centerlink clearway.
16. With the differential housing out of a truck locate the mounting bushing eye on a upper front side of the differential housing and mark the housing with a cut line well-spoken to a housing. Regulating the sawzall, cut a entire ear off the housing. Take caring not to cut into the prosaic portion of the housing.
