Chicago 2010: Chevrolet rolls out Imagination Military Automobile

Late final year, General Motors voiced that it would build a Zeta-based Military Car for North American duty. Yet there was already a perfectly great Pontiac G8 available before GM decided to shutter the code, this Zeta would be based on a longer chronicle of that platform as used by a Holden Statesman and be wellknown as the 2011 Chevrolet Imagination military unit vehicle.
Well, what do you know. Chevy brought only such the car to a Chicago Automobile Show, and we managed to snap off the series of photos to share. According to the crew manning a counter, a Caprice PPV is still in concept form, finish with a refurbished Toughbook panel from Panasonic attached to a core console.
Being the long-wheelbase Zeta, the Caprice PPV has copiousness of room for a widely separated cockpit with what appears to be the plexiglass separator protecting the motorist and front passenger from whatever or whomever happens to be confined to the back. Other engaging tidbits include the series of storage locations, including one for weapons in between the dual front seats.
We’re sure the cops will conclude a E85-compatible 6.0-liter V8 as well as the 355 horsepower and 385 pound-feet of torque it puts out. Now if only GM could find the way to put just such a Imagination (or, would that be the proper Impala SS?) in every singular Chevrolet dealership around the country, they might unequivocally be upon to something.
