Displacement is out. Supercharging is in. During least that’s the citation alittle automakers are receiving. Case in indicate, the Audi S5.
The long-term coupe is a 2009 indication with a 4.2-liter V8. It makes all sorts of good noises and pulls quite nicely, aswell. This year, however, Audi is beginning a passingfromonetoanother to a 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 for a S5. The engine might be over a liter down in banishment, but the supercharger helps it make nearly as most energy as a V8 while delivering considerably better fuel mileage. Weighs reduction, aswell.
So how much of the difference does a shift make?
