2005-Up KIA Sportage / Hyundai Tucson Receiver Join Designation Instructions
1. Check all tools. Review and assimilate instructions completely prior to beginning designation. Clean the underneath side of a support. Clean out a coupling nuts in the support.
Parts List:
1) Hitch
6) 10mm – 1.25 x 40mm Hex Bolts
6) ?/?” HD Flatwasher
6) 10mm Lockwashers
2. Remove the empty hangers and reduce the empty to ease designation.
3. Remove the tow offshoot, 4 bolts upon the passenger side. Mislay a rear most shaft at the back of a draw hook. Return tow hook and bolts to car owners.
4. On a driver side, remove the dual rear many bolts. There is a third weld nut upon a motorist side, you will be using it to install the hitch.
5. Purify a frame prior to installing the hitch. Have certain the 10mm – 1.25 bolts will screw into all 6 weld nuts. If the bolt won’t screw in easily, you will need to purify the coupling bulb of waste. The best way to do thi s is to make use of a 10mm – 1.25 tap. With a tiny amount of lube, run the tap through a coupling nut. The bolt should screw in easily.
6. Lift the hitch into position and secure with six 10mm – 1.25 hex bolts, 10mm lockwashers as well as ?/?” HD flatwashers.
7. Snug all bolts.
8. Torque all a 10mm – 1.25 bolts to 37 ft/lbs. Use a torque wrench.
9. Reinstall a exhaust hangers you removed.
