2006 Hummer H3, 3.5L, 4wd, 4dr Cat-Back Separate Back Empty Instructions
When installing this empty system make sure to use correct safety precautions. Makeuseof jack stands when working under a vehicle, set parking stop, retard tires and use reserve glasses as well as gloves. Concede empty to cold before attempting designation. 1. Disconnect the disastrous battery wire prior to dismissal of OEM empty. This will concede the mechanism to reset and recognize the brandnew exhaust. Lay out the empty on the floor so it looks like the sketch and review parts with primer.
2. To mislay the stock exhaust, unbolt it at a 2-bolt prong in front of a scarf. Disengage the welded hangers regulating WD-40 from the OEM rubber grommets. Do not damage or mislay a rubber grommets as you will re-use them to mountain your brandnew complement.
3. Implement headpipe #A onto your existing stock flange using shaft kit #H to secu re flange. DO NOT TIE. Insert welded hanger into rubber grommet.
4. Install scarf #B onto headpipe 1?”-2”. Makeuseof a jack stand to support a muffler. Make certain muffler outlets are level. Makeuseof clamp #G to secure the muffler to the headpipe. DO NOT TIE.
5. Slide driver side over spindle tailpipe #C into scarf 1.5-2”. Use clamp #G to secure tailpipe to muffler. Do not tie. Insert welded hanger into rubber grommet.
6. Slip the second motorist side over spindle tailpipe onto a first 1.5-2”. Secure pipes regulating clamp #G. Do not tie. Insert welded hanger into rubber grommet.
7. Slide a passenger side tailpipe #E into muffler 1.5-2”. Ins ert welded hanger into rubber grommet. Use clamp #G to secure tailpipe to scarf. DO NOT TIGHTEN.
8. Install stainless steel tip. Clamp down. When you have everything in place, firmly tighten all bolts as well as clamps down firmly. Makeuseof immaculate steel cleaner and the Scotch Brite deskpad weekly to forestall tip from discoloration. Check all fasteners after 25-50 miles of operation as well as re-tighten as required.
