im meditative about switching engines, casue my d15y7 is really purify and built and my b8 leaks. additionally im thinking about this, will the y7 head fit upon a b8 retard? if so, would it make more hp? im kinda new to this, but itd be deliberate a mini me swap? do we have to do any mods to it to make it work? or should i just switch out the long retard, ecu, etc… i unequivocally need some ideas, cause when it gets warm(damn colorado continue my engines are comming out, as well as we have usually 2 days to get one of them behind together as well as running. im keeping only asingle delivery aswell if that comes to mind, both are 5speed mani Best Answer —By Mr.V-tec Well, from what WE consider. I used to own a D16y8. I rebuilt it from bottom to head. WE also went with turbo aswell. It doesn’t unequivocally matter with which one you go with. As long as you’re meditative about upgrading it afterwards it doesn’t unequivocally make a difference. But, just go with the asingle you already madeup anda add turbo as well as do something else to it. Some singular cam vtec can smoke b array aswell. So don’t be afraid. Like WE pronounced WE used to own a single cam vtec. WE smoke B-series. But now WE changed out so I gave the car to my little bro and now I own the hatch with entirely madeup gs-r turbo.
