Audi TT: Initial demeanour

Audi TT: Initial demeanour

Engaging initial demeanour here at the new Audi TT.

Set to hit a scene in the first quarter of 2011, a rested Audi TT makes a biggest strides where it counts — under a metalcover. A old 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged four-cylinder is out, transposed by Audi’s updated 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged four-cylinder with a brand-new Audi Valvelift Complement, that optimizes a flow of exhaust gases to the turbocharger. The result is an additional 11 hp and a some-more impressive benefit of 51 lb-ft of torque for the total of 211 hp and 258 lb-ft.

Like a stream car, those ponies have been fed to the pavement through asingle delivery only, Audi’s S Tronic dual-clutch six-speed automatic. From there, they go to all four wheels via Audi’s customary Quattro all-wheel-drive system. With 3300 pounds to lift, thanks in part to endless aluminum bodywork forward of a B-pillars, the brand-new TT hits 62 mph in 5.6 seconds and gets 35 mpg on a total European cycle.
