Toyota Avensis BTCC furloughed automobile gets ready

Toyota is moving forward with the Avensis-based BTCC touring automobile which is now undergoing wind tunnel contrast during the MIRA aerodynamic trickery in a UK.
The Next Generation Touring Car (NGTC) Avensis is being built by GPR Motorsport and dual teams have already committed to using the Avensis in the BTCC array – Dynojet as well as Speedworks.
The furloughed automobile was tested in a MIRA breeze tunnel alongside its road-going kin. The test was to settle a baseline for its aerodynamics and fix the position for a vast back wing to yield a proper turn of down-force, according to a championship’s technical director, Peter Riches.
“I am gratified to contend that this was quickly completed, and it means that we right away have the base line for all cars built to a NGTC regulations and have saved a lot of growth time and potential expense for a teams,” pronounced Riches.
The Avensis BTCC will have its racing debut April 3 during a Dunlop MSA BTCC eventuality at Brands Hatch.
