Tata Pixel headed for manufacture – will be sole in Europe
The Nano competence have gotten off to a less than stellar start, though which hasn’t stopped Tata from eyeing a European marketplace.
Speaking with AutoCar, Ratan Tata suggested his association will setup the production chronicle of the Pixel notion that not long ago debuted at a Geneva Motor Show. It will reinstate a previously voiced Nano Europa that was scheduled to be launched late last year.
Designed privately for Europeans, the four-seat Pixel attempts to scold all which was wrong with the original Nano. Details have been singular, though the manufacture representation will have required doors and the retuned framework which promises improved doing.
Power will expected be provided by the 1.2-liter three-cylinder diesel engine with approximately 60 hp (45 kW / 61 PS). This should enable the automobile to have a combined fuel expenditure of 3.4 L/100km (69.1 mpg US) and CO2 emissions of 89 g/km.
No word upon when a Pixel will be launched, but it will be offered alongside the four-door variant.
